Lifeguard Certification
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age at the start of the class
- Must be able to swim 500 yards continuously by the conclusion of the course
- Must be able to tread water using only legs for 2 minutes
- Must be able to perform both a feet first and head first surface dive into 9 feet of water
- Must be able to perform 100% of the water skills and at least 80% of the written skills
- Must be able to attend 100% of the scheduled courses
Certifications
YMCA Lifeguard - Heartsaver First Aid, Healthcare Provider CPR, AED, and Oxygen Administration
Fee - $180
Course Dates and Times (May 8th-May 15)
May 8: 9:00am-6:00pm
May 10: 6:30pm-9:30pm
May 11: 5:00pm-8:30pm
May 12-14: 6:30pm-9:30pm
May 15: 9:00am-6:00pm

SWAT now offers Intro-to-SWAT & private lessons. Times for instruction are flexible and can be worked around YOUR schedule! Call Amy Chagnon today to schedule your lessons (214) 240-5348.
